Lex and Chanel are an unapologetically Black creative team by way of One School. Extroverted Oakland residents with a passion for solving problems with creative solutions. We stay out here, cause we been out here (in the advertising industry, 5+ years).
Lex is a bi-racial transracial adoptee, Copywriter and creative.
As an Outdoor Photographer, she aims to tell stories through her lens. When she's not spending time backpacking through the snow or rock climbing, she's using her personal social media to advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion in the outdoors.
She's worked with brands like Beyond Yoga, Athleta, Nature Valley, CamelBak and Hoka One One where she connects them to underrepresented groups in the outdoors to amplify their voices. Lex believes that Nature Is For Everyone and would love to see more Black and POC represented in the outdoor industry.

Chanel is a forever curious Art Director. She wears her heart on her sleeve, rides for her people and celebrates life and diversity in her city.
As an Art Director she aims to tell stories through distinct color and unique designs. She loves that design can shift perspectives and transform ideas. She recently did the rebranding for the 2020 Where Are All The Black People Conference.
When Chanel isn't working, you can find her chatting on her very own podcast called Convos In Color where she discusses being apart of the 7% of Black people in Advertising, painting, designing custom nails, vintage thrifting, digital illustrating and adding to her crystal collection.
